Help. Getting into wakeboarding?

Hey everyone…I have been snowboarding for about 7 years now and i need something to do in my summers and I know a guy who wakeboards and has a boat but I just really need help getting into it. What are some good boards and brands? What are good bindings for just starting out? I usually buy all my snow stuff at dogfunk…Is there a good cheap place to buy wake stuff at? And im 5’9 what size board do I need? Thanks very much.

ive been wakeboarding years now. my favourite brand is Liquid Force ( www.liquidforce.com ) i suggest you start with either liquid force, hyperlite or ronix. that are the tops brands. for your board size i suggest about anything from 135cm-139cm. im about 5.7 and i ride liquid force 2009 witness grind 136cm and am loving it. if you are going to ride cable i suggest you buy a board with pitex or a grind base bottom. but if you think you will only be riding boat then you wont need a grind base bottom. for bindings i ride liquid force 2009 shanes. google them. they are the sexiest bindings ever. i love them so much. liquid forces new 2010 or 2009 limited bindings are great. they mold to your feat after 2 rides and they have air pocket plates to soften landings. i loved them so much. search on buywake.com for good deals or just to look around. great website and things are very cheap. or perfski.com
