How do you get concentrated tomato stains out of a lycra blouse?
I happened to drag the floppy sleeve of a lycra top in a dish with cooked tomato sauce (also quite oily) and didn’t notice until the next day. I washed it with hand soap (this usually does the trick) and some of it came out. I then soaked it in OxyClean, but the stains are still there, lighter but noticeable. Any ideas? The stain seems to be permanent.
Try Sugar Paste with your carpet being so light this should work the best for you: Sugar Paste, made of sugar and water, and allowed to sit for one hour, will usually remove anything!!
If sugar paste doesn’t work try: One cup of Tide with two cups of White Vinegar. Scrub the stain with this solution, rinse with cold water, blot and air dry.
Hope this helped, good luck!
